If You Happen to Be in London During Christmas

London Christmas is an exciting experience, especially if it is your first one. The city lights up and a number of festivities across central London keep you entertained. Enjoy ice rinks, dramatic shopping discounts, carols, special ballet and theatre performances, London has it all to make your celebration special.
Trafalgar Square once again will invite to gaze at a majestic Christmas Tree, an annual gift from the people of Oslo, who have been grateful for support during World War Two.
Every winter outdoor ice skating rinks appear all over London and that is something very special to experience in the capital.
On the 6th December, the Great Pudding Race will take place in Covent Garden and will give you a chance to experience a unique relay race where teams will try to avoid a number of obstacles while carrying a pudding on a tray. The event, organised on behalf of Cancer Research UK, will be only an introduction to a number of festivities that will follow.
London's West End Christmas lights are world famous. The lights on Oxford Street and Regent Street late in the evening when all the shops are closed look magical and a bus ride on such a night is a must as the city looks amazing.
The English National Ballet will be holding a number of performances and West End musicals will be popular among residents and visitors alike. If you happen to be in London during Christmas, treat yourself to an exciting performance as they are usually memorable.
And finally Christmas carols. Carols singers across from around the city will gather in Trafalgar Square to raise money for charity and make the celebration more spiritual.
